Our Council is made up of CEOs and senior leaders from our ten partner organisations – a mix of public and private health care providers and teaching and research institutions across Melbourne.
This is the leadership group to set the strategy and oversee the development of Monash Partners, working together to become greater than the sum of our parts.
Professor Christina Mitchell trained as a physician scientist and is now the Academic Vice-President and Dean at Monash University. Christina is also the Monash Partners Council Chair.
Mr Andrew Stripp, who has extensive experience in a number of executive health care roles, is CEO of Monash Health.
Professor Andrew Way has served as Alfred Health’s CEO since 2009, and is a recognised leader both in Australia and overseas.
Professor Leanne Boyd, who has a clinical background in critical care, became Executive Director of Nursing and Cabrini Institute in 2014.
Clinical Associate Professor Colin Feekery is Executive Director Research and Medical Services, and Chief Medical Officer and Chief Medical Informatics Officer at Eastern Health.
Professor Elizabeth Hartland is the new Director and CEO of Hudson and a national and international leader in the field of microbiology and immunology.
Professor Margaret Hellard is Deputy Director (Programs) at the Burnet Institute and also Adjunct Professor, Monash University.
Dr Lachlan Henderson joined Epworth HealthCare in January 2017. Lachlan’s 25 years of health care experience includes working as a medical practitioner and GP for over a decade.
Professor Thomas Marwick, a research clinician, is director and CEO of the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute.
Dr Tim Williams, Executive Director, Medical Services is responsible for clinical governance and medical care across Peninsula Health.
